One wouldn’t expect a marriage to that came together so suddenly and after huge loss to stay together for so long, but it has been nearly 40 years.

Matthew Broderick can be remembered for starring in such films and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and War Games, while his wife, Sarah Jessica Parker was the main character in Sex In The City. The two got married in 1983 after he had asked her several time for her hand in marriage.

That’s what I call devotion. We can all wonder what is next for Iman.

She is a true entrepreneur. A real business woman. The two got engaged in 1998 and married a year later in 1999. With the kind of fame that Jerry Seinfeld has one would expect him to quickly find someone else, but this didn’t happen and they’ve been together ever sin.
Colin Firth and Livia Giuggioli
When it comes to this relationship all the credit has to be given to the casting agents who gave them their parts on the show Nostromo back in 1996. If not for them being on that show they probably would have never ended up together. That said, the marriage between Colin Firth and Livia Giuggioli has been going strong ever since. The couple exchanged vows in 1997 and have since been living a happy life together.

The quickly became sweethearts and then tied the big knot in 2003. They’ve been pretty much stuck on each other ever since and even have two kid together. Seeing as they manage to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, I’d bet it’ll be strong for years to come.
Viola Davis and Julius Tennon
You’ll remember Viola Davis from her hit films Far From Heaven and Kate and Leopold. You’ll know Julius Tennon as her husband. The two met back in the early 2000’s when Viola prayed for the right man to come into her life. That’s when Julius came along and swooped her off her feet. Her married Robin Dearden back in 1989 but the couple first started dating in 1984. That’s a relationship spanning over thirty years. I think it’s safe to say that it’s a concrete marriage.
Kirk Douglas and Anne Buydens
You won’t find a marriage that has been on longer than that Kirk Douglas’. He and Anne Buydens have been together since 1954. They met that year on the set for his film Lust For Life and immediately got married. It was his second marriage. That’s a 52 year long marriage. Seeing he just turned 100 and she is 98, I don’t think the two will separate anytime soon. This has definitely been a marriage for the ages.

Seems some deep romance sparked on the set of A Beautiful Mind back in the year 2001. That romance was between Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany. Lets just say that things got a little steamy on the set. They two ended up getting married two years later in 2003 and even had kids together. It’s looks like this is one Hollywood relationship carved in stone.
Lisa Kudrow and Michel Stern
Lisa Kudrow. You’ll recall her as the least famous friend on the show Friends. She’d wield that guitar and sing about cats and overall indulge herself in a hippie lifestyle while hanging out with the least hippie people you can ever picture. We can rest assured that this supermodel won’t be left to her own devices anytime soon.
Elton John and David Furnish
It has no doubt been a long and bumpy road for Elton John and David Furnish. Back in 1993 when they first became an item, getting married wasn’t an option for them. They had to wait twelve years just to be recognized by England that they were in a civil partnership. It was finally nine years after that, that the couple go to be married as man and man. Given all the trouble they had to go through to get that title, we don’t see them splitting up anytime soon.
Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham
Mark Wahlberg. Actor, rapper and husband of Rhea Durham. He first met the model at the turn of the century. 2001 to be exact. It took him a good eight years to marry her. The two even have four children together. Two sons and two daughters. Given the time they put into the relationship and the amount of children that they have together, we don’t see thing being just some huge fling. Surely it is lifelong.

The popular couple have a very unique and long lasting relationship. It was best documented on the hit show MadTV. Oprah found her Stedman in the 1980’s and immediate charmed her with her Oprah ways. They got engaged in 1992, but never really got married. I suppose they are still engaged today. We think this one is for keeps as we can’t imagine either of them with anyone else.
Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy
Chris Henchy definitely wasn’t the first man in Brooke Shields’ life. But we can almost promise you that he will be the last. Her previous was always at the center of all the hot Hollywood gossip. That alone was enough to tell us it would last. With Chris Henchy things are different. They are quiet. Since 2001 they have been having a very smooth marriage with very little coverage from the media. This shows promise.
Julia Roberts and Danny Moder
Whereas the 1980’s and 1990’s weren’t the smoothest for Julia Roberts in terms of relationships. With the year 2000 came a string of luck for her in the romance department. She met Danny Moder on the set for the 2000 film The Mexican and they two immediately hit it off. She couldn’t believe she found such a catch. A catch for the ages. The two got married in 2002 and Julia Roberts is now off limits to a number of sad male fans.
Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus
Given his brash lyrical content and the reputation he has created for himself, one wouldn’t expect Snoop Dogg to be married to his high school sweetheart. Yet, under the cloud of smoke and his gangster exterior Snoop has a heart of gold that only belongs to Shante Broadus. They have been together for twenty five years. The couple made their relationship forever when he put a ring on her finger back in 1997.
Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka
When Neil Patrick Harris came out of the closet we were all shocked, especially because he was such a ladies man on television. Yet even before he got that reputation he was dating David Burtka. They first started seeing each other in 2004 and got married in Italy 10 years later in 2014. The couple even adopted children together. That pretty much set their love in stone.
Michelle Pfieffer and David E. Kelley
Nobody could have seen this coming. The year was 1993 and Michelle Pfieffer was single. She was set up on a blind date with David E. Kelley. Normally people go on blind dates and expect the worst, but she actually came out of it with a husband. By the end of the year the two were married. They two even had two children together. One is natural while the other is adopted.
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas
1999 was a big year for Catherine Zeta-Jones. She wasn’t only at the height of her career, but she also started dating superstar Michael Douglas. There was more than a twenty year gap in age, but none of them cared and the two got married in the year 2000. Despite his old age, he even managed to have two children with her. Given they’ve been married successfully for 17 years, I’d call this one forever.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Tom Hanks wasn’t always the legend that we know him as today. In fact in 1980, he was just starting out and was working a show called Bosom Buddies. It was on the set of that show that he met Rita Wilson. The two were immediately hooked on each other and got married in 1988. Tom Hanks had just released Big that year. You think with the super stardom he’d come by in the 1990’s that he’d find someone else, but he hasn’t and the two have been going strong for over thirty years.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
Although they first met in the 1960’s while working on a movie called The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, the couple actually didn’t hit off until 1983. They have a slew of successful children and even have their Hollywood Walk of Fame stars next to each others. They are truly a couple for the ages.
